Professional Background/Experience:
Danielle is an experienced Mental Health Social Worker and is passionate about supporting individuals through the therapeutic process. She endeavours to assist clients to explore issues, use self reflection, gain insight and increase their coping skills.

She has experience working in a range of different settings including non profits, community health, Government Organizations and schools. She has a wealth of experience conducting thorough assessments, identifying and managing risk and addressing protective concerns. Danielle’s experience also includes group work including facilitation of court ordered programs such as men’s behaviour change. 

Danielle brings a warm and down to earth approach to her work with a focus on collaboration and building rapport. She aims to create a safe space which is client centred, confidential, transparent, respectful and non-judgmental. Danielle utilizes a strength based, holistic approach to her work using individualized treatments plans to support individuals to improve their overall wellbeing.

Professional Interests: 
Danielle has a particular interest in working with complex high risk presentations including- trauma, family violence, AOD and work place stress and critical incidents.

Danielle aims to meet the client where they are at and employs a ‘whole person approach’ in order to address underlying issues. She uses a range of evidence-based interventions to ensure the clients best interests are met. These Include; cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psycho-education, emotion focused and solution focused work, narrative therapy, positive psychology, motivational interviewing and a strength based approach.
