Professional background:
Emma completed her medical degree at Deakin University which included placements in regional and rural medicine.
Her hospital training included time at Eastern Health, Werribee Mercy, Bairnsdale Regional Health and Monash Health. This included additional extensive experience in paediatric and neonatal medicine and in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in addition to completing the Sydney Child Health Program in Paediatrics and the Certificate of Women's Health to complement her clinical experience.
 
Professional interests: 
Emma enjoys all aspects of General practice and takes a holistic and empathetic approach. She enjoys working with people of all ages, genders and stages of life. She has a keen interest in childrens and neonatal health, pregnancy and postpartum care, menstrual and sexual health and menopause. She is registered for shared pregnancy care with Monash Health (including Sandringham Hospital). Emma is also trained in insertion and removal of implanon. Emma also enjoys discussions on preventive health and healthy aging.

Personal Interests:
Outside of work you'll find Emma playing netball, watching AFL, cooking new recipes, and spending time with her family and Golden Retriever Charlie.
