She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and actively participates in the Perinatal and Infant Psychology interest group.

Professional Interests:
Thanh has a special interest in supporting individuals, couples, and families throughout the perinatal period, helping them prepare for and adjust to the transition into parenthood. She brings experience from a range of settings, including community health, not-for-profit organisations, and educational environments. Thanh provides individual therapy tailored to both short- and long-term psychological needs, working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, stress, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges.

Thanh has completed advanced training in perinatal mental health and perinatal loss through the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE), as well as non-directive pregnancy counselling, qualifying her to provide services under Pregnancy Support. She is currently deepening her expertise by undertaking the Perinatal Infant Mental Health Intensive through the Perinatal Training Centre. As a Circle of Security Facilitator, she supports healthy parent-child attachment, and she incorporates the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy (Levels 1 and 2) in her work with couples.

Thanh is deeply committed to empowering individuals to reach their full potential through a person-centred, strengths-based approach. She tailors her work to each client’s unique needs, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and compassion-focused approaches. Her practice is also informed by attachment theory and psychodynamic principles, which she integrates to support individuals, couples, and families.

Recognised for her warm, genuine, and compassionate presence, Thanh fosters a safe and supportive therapeutic space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. She views therapy as a collaborative and personalised process, grounded in a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship.
