A/Prof Jennifer Neil is a GP who works both clinically and academically and is Head of Curriculum for the Monash University Medical School, the largest medical school in Australia. She is nationally and internationally recognised for her work in domestic and family violence and trauma informed care.
Her research interests include medical education, family violence and trauma informed care. She is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Melbourne researching the lived experience of GPs who are survivors of domestic and family violence.
In her clinical work she enjoys managing a full range of general practice presentations and has a particular interest in mental health, chronic disease management, women’s health and supporting survivors of trauma.
