Professional background:
Dr Maryallan Girolami completed her Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery through Monash University. She trained for her Fellowship in General Practice both in metropolitan Melbourne and on the Mornington Penninsula. In more recent times she has completed her lactation consulting qualifications and stands as one of the few Melbourne based GPs with International Board Certified Lactation Consultant® (IBCLC®) accreditation.
Professional interests:
Maryallan has a keen interest in Women’s and Childrens health as well as medical education. In 2013, she completed her Diploma of Child Health through Sydney University and the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She is also involved in Medical School education tutoring at Monash University.
Personal interests:
Outside of work Maryallan enjoys spending time with family and friends, chasing after her young son, travelling and exploring beautiful beaches.
